I cover the City of Edinburgh Council as Local Democracy Reporter for Edinburgh with Edinburgh Live, in partnership with the BBC. 

I previously worked as a Reporter at Edinburgh Live specialising in investigations and courts. My investigative series into nitazenes - a deadly street drug - was raised in Scottish Parliament in 2025.

As a student journalist at the University of Edinburgh, I was nominated for News Writer of the Year at the Herald Student Awards. While serving as News Editor for The Student, the paper won Best Publication 2024 at the Student Publication Association (SPA) National Conference Awards.

My work has been published in BBC, The Daily Mirror, The Express, STV, The Herald (Scotland), The National (Scotland), The Daily Record, Edinburgh Live, and more.

When I graduated from Penn State University in 2022, my Honors Thesis in English was named Runner Up to Best Thesis in the Humanities by the College of Liberal Arts. I was also awarded grant funding by the University to hike the 2190-mile Appalachian Trail for the project.
